Go God Go!!! "I know the plans I have for you Shea, plans to prosper you..." (Jeremiah) 5 yrs. ago I gave birth to a baby boy at 24 weeks. We were told that there might be a 7% chance that he survived and IF he did, he would be worth nothing. God knew differently because it was God's plan for Lucas to shine brightly for Jesus. Long before we saw this baby boy we knew that his name would be Lucas, a light. What a light he is at 5 and perfectly healthy! He says it best - "I am a miracle!" He is truly a miracle - for Jesus. Now it's your turn Shea. You are a miracle for Jesus. You are a light shining brightly for all the world to see. God in His glory, Bright and Shining Star, the Alpha and the Omega. For such a time is this... Shine. Rest. Allow God to do what only God can do. You, Shea will live and declare the works of the Lord!!!

I hope to see you before I return back to college. May you rest in God's goodness and power, knowing that HE always has the best in mind for His beloved children. I love you and I pray that you recover and heal quickly.

Wow! What a job of faith you are doing for everyone around us. I cannot tell you how many people have set up prayer circles for you and everyone around you. You have such a great fight in front of you, but one that everyone around you knows you will win! You have been brought to this world by the best family and friends - God knows you are a fighter! You are doing and bringing miracles all around you. John, Quinn, Kinsey and I have you in fore-front of all our thoughts! Kinsey and Quinn are buying you presents left and right to give you when you come home.

We love you, girl! Sleep with Jesus' and our arms around you!

Dear Hickok family, When we heard about the accident our hearts went out to you especially mine.Although I don't know you all personally i remember Mr Hickok coming over to our house to trace our hands, hearing Shea sing at the Christmas service, and Luke asking me to be his Valentine in the fifth grade and I felt like God was putting it on my heart to pray for you all. I have and will continue praying with ALL my heart for your family. Good will come out of this as God unwraps the plan He has for you all. We all are praying for you. its from the heart, Lexi Dyksterhouse and the Dyksterhouse Family

dear shea,

it feels like just yesterday that we were singing the national anthem or a great praise song in your kitchen in Arizona. You were always better than me... cone to think of it, you were better than everyone I have ever known.

time flys doesn't it? now you are in Atlanta, a coast away from us. we miss you and your family.

when I heard about your accedent on saturday afternoon, I broke down in tears. Even though I was very hurt and very sad, I remembered one thing. This thing was actually a bible verse that has had a lasting effect on me. This verse is Jeremiah 29:11 and it says "11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."... I know, that verse rocks.

I wanted to share that with you for a certain reason. I never doubted God in this situation. I always knew, and still do, that He would pull through and get you better. I havn't stopped praying for you.

"you are beautiful my sweet, sweet song."

your friend from Az,
-gobes

Steve, Susan, Shea, Luke, and Jesse-
We're continuing to pray daily for you all and we're encouraged with each little piece of good news. Your trial is building others' faith. Phil has been in Florida since the accident at a conference and he shared your need first thing with all the people so hundreds there were praying and keeping daily updates on Shea's condition. He got home late last night. I have shared your need at the school where I teach and many have been praying. I know we can't possibly know just how many are praying with each person passing on the needs to another--the brothers and sisters out there you haven't even met but who are interceding for you! God is at work. We love you and appreciate you so much.

Shea --

I am the father of two sons (Andrew, 18 and Connely, 20) that love the Lord, and they sometimes travel and lead praise and worship. If I let myself, I would worry often about the possibility of an automobile accident. I am an engineer and I know generally that the more you travel, the worse are your odds for an accident. The only solace is knowing that when you are living in God's Will, He is in control and he protects you. We do not understand the events of this life, but we have to move forward to do the work that we are called to do. I heard of your situation from a friend that once lived in Phoenix, but is now is Las Vegas. First, I want you to know that you are on the prayer board at my church (First Baptist of Columbus, MS). Secondly, know that I am praying for you to make it through this situation and then to get your life "back on track." Rest and heal -- your life's work remains to be fulfilled.
