Steve just received word that the producers of Shea's CD are donating the profits from the first 1000 CDs to help with the family's medical bills.
They are rushing the first pressing into production and expect to have the CD available for sale soon.
Keep watching this blog for info on how to buy the CD.

Any chance you can post the lyrics Grandpa Anderson would like to be able to read them. He also wants to know who wrote them.
Thanks,
Steve Eimers
Hi Shea: I'v been thinking about this singing thing before your beautiful songs were even posted. When Karilee was 16 she had a problem with her diabetes and ended up in the ER so sick. She faints at the sight of blood and this is not a very good thing in the ER. So, while they were poking her and pricking her, she closed her eyes and hummed praise songs. After that she was transferred by ambulence to Phoenix Children's and the EMT's thought she was drunk (the singing and the high blood sugar). Can you believe it?--I explained to them that she was singing songs from church. It reminded me of Paul & Silas who "about midnight were praying and singing hymns to God." The others in the jail were no doubt amazed as they listened. SO, here's the point of all of this--not Karilee, not Paul & Silas but you and God. I believe that singing is the Spirit-driven form of dealing with pain, sorrow and being comforted by the Spirit. It's the words yes--God's Word and the beautiful words from so many hymns and spiritual songs but it is also the music that comes deep inside our soul. Years and years of words are in you Shea--both from God's Living Word and from all the music in your life. First you will only be able to hear it in your head and heart, and then you will begin to be able to hum, and then once again sing. You will be amazed at the verses and song words that pop into your mind--it is the coolest thing--songs you forgot you new--and Bible verses you memorized when you were 5--it will come marching into your mind and heart like
song-angels. Let it flow and wash you and when you can--hum--just hum.
Love--Karine
Steve & Susan--I wish I could make time stand still for awhile--I'm sorry the bills keep coming in the mail and that everyone's life keeps marching on and that Christmas isn't waiting for a few more months--but you just don't worry about any of that--Praise God you are surrounded by loving family and ministry partners that can help you with all of that--we can't stop time but our God is the father of all time and of our days--His mercies are new every morning!
Lauren Shea,
Wow! That was such a beautiful song! You always had such an angelic voice, but I can tell by listening to that song that it has become even more beautiful over the years, just as you have! I know that you will be singing again soon and I pray that you'll be able to come back to Arizona to sing for us after you get through all of this! I am so excited to see all the progress that you're making! God really has done a miracle in you! I'm thinking of you and praying for you often!
Sending my love,
Becca Noland

Shea! I know its been forever since we talked. but I heard about your accident through the grapevine, and I've been praying for you!
I was thinking back to the days when you and me and Rachel were in junior high at desert sky together...We had a whole lot of fun! Remember Rachel's surprise birthday party? The impromptu fashion show....crazy cake decorating? I miss those days.
I can't wait for you to be better! Rachel and I will have to come visit, or better yet, you'll just have to come back to Phoenix and see us.
Get well soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
Love Always,
Kacie O'Brien
Shea,
What a talent God has given you!
You will continue to sing His praises. We will be praying over the picture of the surgeries. One by one He will restore you to His image. Oh the songs you'll sing then. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
Rest now child, rest in His Arms!
Praying for you always,
Dana Gard
Steve and Susan,
We are praying for you all as well. Take this time to grow in your faith, grow closer to each other, and KNOW God has big plans for your family! Your are witnessing a miracle, thank you for growing my faith as well.
Love and prayers,
Dana Gard
Dear Lauren Shea, This is Aunt Liz. I sit and read everyone's comments to you and I have goose bumps the whole time. Eight days I've had goose bumps. I don't know what that means, but it's amazing. I do believe that with so many thoughts and prayers you must feel loved even though you are asleep. When I go on the blog or hear your CD I feel like I am part of something really big going on all over the world in your honor and for God's glory. I sense God's love for your being poured out by people all over the world and many you don't even know. The goose bumps are because I am privileged to be part of this huge love fest going on for you.
Hearing your voice sing was almost as good as hearing you talk--which is what I'm praying for each minute. I have a picture of you and your mom with your blonde heads together blown up 8x10 and posted on the cupboard in the kitchen where we see it constantly. I think your Uncle John got jealous so I posted one of you and he on the other wall at his request.
I have cried alot in sadness for what you are going through and what you have yet to go through, but I will never forget or misunderstand, and I hope you never do either, what a powerful thing is going on in your body and all around you. It is God working in astonishing ways.
Love from perfect strangers is something rare that must be treasured. Did you know that people I don't even know are coming to me via e-mail to ask me to convince your mom and dad to let them do the Hickok dirty laundry? That is true love.
You, my dear, are a phenomenon of love and hope as you lie there with all of that medication in you and those tubes and machines in and around you. As amazing and wonderful as you are, you personally couldn't have ever caused this many people to come together and talk to God at one time. But because of God's faithfulness and love He has done this through you. Your life has brought me closer to many of my friends and it has brought Maggie, and Pam, and Sharon and I closer because we just have to get together and cheer each other up.
I will continue to dream of you at night and pray for you each day until we meet again. There are many people in Connecticut praying for you--not because I asked them, but because they searched for The Bridge on the internet and made their way to this blog. It is God at work in the world all around you.
Peace to you, inside and out. The Holy Spirit inside me is inside you giving you an inside out hug at this same moment. No wonder I have goose bumps.
With great love to you, your mom, dad, Luke and Jesse,
Aunt Liz
hey babe! so im sitting here listening to this song and im thinking to myself, wow i know you have a good voice but that sounds so amazing. Shea:
Just two short words: Keep Singing!
I know it must be hard, lying in that bed and not being able to sing right now...But just wait! Your voice will come back strong and fresh and powerful to sing all sorts of new songs for the glory of our Lord!
As Karine Beard said, start small: think the words and the tune, then next thing you know, you'll be humming, and before long, you'll BELT out a song that will surprise the doctors and give glory to Christ! We'd love to be there for that!
Rest well today, and get your strength back.
Love to you and your family!
Shea-
I didn't know that you have such an amazing voice. When I listened to the clip I couldn't stop crying. You are such an amazing person. I'm so glad that I got to know you here at Kennesaw. My thoughts and prayers are with you everyday. Be strong, the Lord will bring you through the hard times. You're welcome back here anytime after you recover. Lauren and I still want you to do our hair!
With love-
Amanda Smets
