I saw a miracle today...

We will post a more complete message tomorrow... But after spending some time with Shea tonight... I can honestly say that the difference between today and three weeks ago when I saw her last - is nothing short of miraculous.

I read the blog to her and she wanted me to let you all know how much she appreciates you.

My Shea Shea,
Hey Princess! I am sure it is past your bed time because it is way past mine, but you know how work goes. I couldnt wait to read the website today. All day i was thinking you are only 40 minutes away. I cant wait to see you Shea and juast hold you tight. I know that this has been a long journey, but i knew you would pull though because you are so strong and our God is an Awsome God. He works miracles that are just so unreal. It just blows me away and just makes me so happy. I know that you really cant have vistors, but we bought you a 4foot prelit Christmas tree and i worked really hard to make special ortaments to put on the tree. So is there any way we can get it to you or a room near you, its ok if we cant see you, we really just want you to have this from us. Oh yeah, so like everyday Shea, somebody tells me that i look like you at the Salon, and it makes me feel so good to look like someone as beautiful as you. You are thought about everyday day and for me it is like every hour. I will be sitting on the dryer or laying on the couch and i will think, i wonder what Shea is doing right now? But girl i just want you to know that me and so many people i know are constantly praying for you to heal in every area and for you left eye. Girl you are such a trooper!!
Have Sweet Dreams and sleep tight tonight Beautiful!
Talk to you tomorrow!!
Love Always,
xoxoxoxoxo Renea
P.S. Is there an address where i can write to you?
Luv u Bunny!!

Hey Sheaster...
I am out in sunny california where it has rained ever since we got here, but it has been fun. I am thinking about you and praying for you constantly...praying big prayers...and God has been doing such big things in you sweet girl. How does it feel to be such a miracle?
I think you should probably start writing your book now so that when you are ready to star in the movie (as yourself of course) that things will be all ready to go! Shea, I just cant wait to see you and give you a hug...you always give the best hugs! Well girl I have to go pick up Ella (who misses you like crazy) but know that you feel like a sister to me and I am here for you for anything that you need.
Praying faithfully for you...

What a mighty God we serve! He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it...I am amazed every day at the good things HE is doing in your life, Shea. We do not know one another and will probably not meet in this life..but I am thankful to God that He has given me the privilege to pray for you during this time.

Happy Christmas to you and your family.

St. Theresa's Prayer:
"May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let his presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of you."

Shea, Susan, Steve, Luke and Jesse,
I'm praising God for His wonderful works!

"I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.
Your ways, O God, are holy.
What god is so great as our God?
You are the God who performs miracles;
You display your power among the peoples."
Psalm 77: 12-14

From now on, whenever you face something that seems too hard, please remember this verse and all God's done so far. What an amazing recovery so far, bringing glory to our God!

Shea, you'll be sleeping in your own bed, too, before you know it!

Hey honey, glad to see you are back "home." God is so good. Its ironic how He works though. On Monday night I think I wrote to you something about how if I could carry any of your pain i would. Then, on Tuesday we got a call that Daniel, my brother, was in a pretty bad car accident. I'll spare you the details, but in the end, I realized how much protection God gave to us. Looking back there were so many things that could have happened, but my brother is alive and home from the hospital and I just praise God. The funny thing is, that through that I can better relate to your story, or at least how it must have felt for Luke. That heart-wrenching sick feeling when you see your brother or sister there and you know that nothing besides God can save them. its a scary place to be, but at the same time, you know there is no better place to have your loved ones, than under the wing of jesus. So, I will continue praying for your eyesight and transition into the new place. I'm sure it will be scary but I know that your faith will sustain you. again, i am anticipating the day when ill get in to this blog and see that you are writing to us yourself! I hope that you find the encouragement you need through our prayers, and our letters, and through all the amazing things God does to keep us going. I will be writing back soon. Is there anything else i can pray for you, even the little things that bother you? Just let me know. i hope you have a Merry Christmas. Oh, and is there an adress where we can send letters or anything to you????
